For these applications we recommend the following product groups: Corrosion Inhibitors These products are used, where carbondioxide corrosion in steam-and condensate systems are expected. Due to the favourable distribution coefficient in the ratio steam/condensate also widely branched systems are effectively protected from corrosion. Oxygen scavengers As oxygen scavangers for boiler-, steam-, and condensate systems volatile products and special products, allowed to use in the food industry, are available. All products support and assist the built up of a magnitite protectice film. Alkalization Agents These products are used, where carbondioxide corrosion, in boiler-, steam- and condensate systems is expected. A special product combines the advantages of an oxygen scavanger and a steam alkalization agent, which is multiple used as substitute for hydrazine.
